Voter List Revision Drive Intensified; Forms to Be Submitted by December 11

Ayodhya: The district administration has intensified the ongoing voter list revision campaign, aimed at adding new voters, correcting outdated records, and rectifying errors. At present, Ayodhya district has a total of 19,07,825 registered voters.

Under the campaign, 2034 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are conducting door-to-door verification of voter details. The last date for submitting forms for voter list corrections or new registrations has been fixed as December 11. The administration has appealed to all eligible citizens to submit the required documents on time to ensure that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral roll.

District Election Officer Nikhil Tikaram Pandey, along with Deputy District Election Officer Anirudh Pratap Singh and Assistant District Election Officer Uday Raj Pandey, is monitoring the progress of the campaign. For smooth management of the voter list, all five Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) have been designated as Electoral Registration Officers. Additionally, 26 Assistant Electoral Officers have been deployed to support the campaign.

Officials emphasized that the revision drive is crucial for safeguarding democratic rights. Citizens have been urged to contact their respective BLOs and submit their forms at the earliest to ensure that no one is deprived of their right to vote in the upcoming elections.
