New Delhi. Popular YouTuber and influencer Payal Dhare, widely known as Payal Gaming, has issued a strong clarification after her name was linked to a viral intimate video circulating on social media. The influencer said she has no connection whatsoever with the clip and described the situation as deeply distressing.
In recent days, a private video spread rapidly across various platforms, with several users falsely claiming that the woman in the clip was Payal Gaming. The claims were made without verification, triggering widespread speculation and online harassment.
Breaking her silence, Payal shared a detailed statement on Instagram, firmly denying any association with the video. She emphasised that the circulation of such content and the baseless tagging of her name was not harmless gossip but a serious issue that can cause lasting emotional and reputational harm.
“This is not harmless content,” Payal said in her post, underlining the impact such rumours can have on an individual’s mental health and public image. She also urged people to act responsibly on social media and refrain from sharing unverified and damaging material.
Following her statement, Payal received an outpouring of support from fans and fellow content creators. Popular YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani commented, “Stay strong Payal, karma will ultimately get them, we all are with you.” Actor and fashion influencer Uorfi Javed also expressed sympathy, saying no woman should have to endure such an experience. Several other influencers echoed similar sentiments, calling out the targeting and misinformation.
Amid the controversy, Payal Gaming began trending on social media, with many of her followers defending her and questioning the authenticity of the video. Some users claimed the clip appeared to be fake or possibly generated using artificial intelligence, highlighting growing concerns around deepfake content and online misuse of technology.
Payal Gaming commands a massive digital following, with over 4.51 million subscribers on YouTube and around 4.3 million followers on Instagram at the time of publishing. The incident has once again sparked debate around online accountability, misinformation and the urgent need to address cyber harassment targeting public figures.
