Ghaziabad. Jaipuria Institute of Management (JIM), Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, successfully hosted its annual cultural fest ‘Mercato: The Fiesta 2025’ with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The festival emerged as a dynamic platform celebrating culture, creativity and youthful energy, with over 1,000 students participating from Delhi-NCR and other regions.
The event commenced with an impressive opening ceremony, graced by eminent personalities from the corporate and professional world. The distinguished guests included Pramod Kumar Jain, CEO – TCI Global and Group HR Head – TCIL; Sameer Kohli, Director – Insight and Senior IT Leader; Taranjit Singh, SVP and Head – Digital Portfolio, Axis Bank; and Mehtaaz Wasif, fitness influencer and youth icon. Addressing the gathering, the speakers emphasized the importance of collaboration between industry and academia, leadership development, digital transformation, and the holistic growth of students.
The presence of Prof. (Dr.) Devendra Narang, Director of the Institute, along with senior faculty members, added further dignity to the occasion. Students showcased remarkable creativity, innovation and energy across all events, making the campus vibrant throughout the fest.
The biggest highlight of the celebration was the live performance by renowned singer Simar Kaur. With her powerful voice and energetic stage presence, she enthralled the audience and turned the evening into a high-energy musical experience. Her popular songs created an electrifying atmosphere and provided a memorable finale to the fest.
Jaipuria Institute’s alumni also actively participated in the event, sharing their professional journeys and offering valuable career guidance to current students. This interaction strengthened the bond between alumni and students, fostering a strong sense of community and mentorship.
