Ghaziabad. District Magistrate Shri Ravindra Kumar Mandar conducted a quarterly inspection of the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) warehouse in Ghaziabad district today, in compliance with the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India. The inspection was carried out in the presence of representatives from various recognized political parties.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate reviewed the storage arrangements of EVMs and VVPAT machines, security protocols, sealing procedures, and the CCTV surveillance system installed at the warehouse. He directed the concerned officials to ensure strict adherence to all prescribed security standards and emphasized that no lapses should occur in maintaining the safety of the machines.
Representatives of political parties also examined the EVMs stored at the warehouse and expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements. The District Magistrate assured all stakeholders that maintaining the security, transparency, and integrity of EVMs is a top priority of the district administration.
Officials from the District Election Office, police department, and other concerned staff were present during the inspection. The entire inspection process was carried out in accordance with the established protocols.
The district administration conducts quarterly inspections of the EVM warehouse on a regular basis to ensure continued security, transparency, and reliability of the electronic voting machines.
