Dharm Sena Chief Santosh Dubey Leads Ram Kot Parikrama with Saints and Devotees

Ayodhya: A grand Ram Kot Parikrama was organized on Monday from Nishad Raj Square, led by Dharm Sena chief Santosh Dubey. The procession began with chanting of mantras and slogans of “Jai Shri Ram”, drawing a large number of saints and devotees. The atmosphere throughout the route remained filled with religious fervor and devotion.

Santosh Dubey, who was previously an accused in the Babri demolition case, raised several demands during the parikrama, calling for proper recognition and honor for karsevaks and Ram devotees who were part of the movement. He stated that those who participated in the agitation should be honored by the government and their families should receive financial assistance.

One of the key demands was the installation of statues at major intersections in Ayodhya in memory of the karsevaks who sacrificed their lives during the movement. He further asserted that those who insulted karsevaks or ordered firing upon them should be kept away from Ayodhya.

Dubey also demanded the renaming of several public places, including renaming the Lucknow highway after the late Ram Achal Gupta, Tedhi Bazaar Square after Rajendra Dharkar, and Hanumangarhi Road after the Kothari brothers. He additionally called for renaming Lata Mangeshkar Chowk in honor of martyred karsevak Vasudev Gupta.

Security personnel and volunteers remained deployed throughout the parikrama to ensure safety and discipline. Devotees completed the procession calmly and with devotion. At the conclusion of the event, Ram devotees announced plans for large-scale mobilization in the coming days.
