Gautam Buddh Nagar: Under the Atal Janmashatabdi Year celebrations, a solemn lamp lighting ceremony was organised at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district office in Gautam Buddh Nagar to commemorate the life and legacy of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The programme was held in the presence of District BJP President Mr. Abhishek Sharma, along with other respected district office-bearers. Mandal President Mr. Lokesh Tyagi and dedicated workers of the Bisrakh Mandal also participated enthusiastically in the event.
During the ceremony, party leaders and workers paid heartfelt tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, recalling his visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to national service, and ideals of good governance. Speakers highlighted Vajpayee’s contribution to strengthening democracy, promoting inclusive development, and placing India firmly on the global stage through his statesmanship.
